What you get
The planner spreadsheet
Three tabs: Start Here, The Cash Planner, and The Low Week. Type the yellow cells; the totals, the closing-cash chain, the week grades, and the verdict box compute themselves with live formulas.
The 7-page playbook
The 15-minute Monday ritual, how to book money in the week it actually lands, and six ordered moves for when a week goes red, cheapest first, line of credit last.
How it works
1. Type your weeks. Opening cash, your minimum line, and what really comes in and goes out, in the week it lands, not the week it is promised.
2. Read the verdict. Every week grades itself OK, TIGHT, or LOW against your minimum line, and the verdict box names your lowest week and how low it goes.
3. Keep it true in 15 minutes a week. Each Monday: actuals replace estimates, the window rolls, and you check whether a LOW week moved closer.
The sample company is preloaded, and its week 9 breaks the line. Collections come in light the same week payroll and rent both land. Seen from week 2, the fix is one phone call. That pattern, caught early, is the entire point of this tool, and it is the same weekly view our monthly clients get maintained for them.
Where it sits on the ladder
Free rung: the sample monthly memo shows you the reporting this feeds. This planner is the do-it-yourself rung. When the low weeks keep coming back, that is a margin or collections problem, and finding which one is what the Business Accelerator, our monthly service, is for.
Asked before buying
Does it work in Google Sheets?
Yes. Every formula is deliberately old-school Excel, so the file opens and computes in Excel, Google Sheets, and LibreOffice. Yellow cells are yours to type; everything else calculates itself.
Is this the same forecast the monthly service delivers?
Same method, different driver. The planner is the do-it-yourself version: you keep it honest every Monday. In the Business Accelerator, our monthly service, we maintain it for you, tie it to your books, and deliver it with the close and a one-page memo.
Do I need finance experience to use it?
No. If you can type numbers into a spreadsheet you can run it. The guide walks the 15-minute weekly ritual, and the sample company is preloaded so you see a working example, including a week that breaks the minimum line, before you touch anything.
Thirteen Fridays, defended.
