Fixed price, no call needed
You are paying for software right now. Can you name all of it?
Send one month of statements. We read every recurring charge, say what each one is actually for, and mark it keep, downgrade or cancel. You get the yearly figure you can take back.
Three business days. Read by a person before it is sent.
The bill grew one signup at a time
Nobody sat down and decided to spend this. Someone needed a tool for one job, put it on the card, and it renewed. Then a seat got added for a person who has since left. Then the vendor moved everyone onto a higher plan. Every charge made sense on the day it started, and nobody has read the whole list since.
It renews quietly
Annual plans bill twelve months after a decision you no longer remember making. The charge lands, it looks familiar, and it clears.
Seats outlive people
Per user pricing keeps charging for whoever was on the account in March. Removing them is a five minute job that nobody owns.
Two tools do one job
A feature you already pay for arrives inside something else you already pay for. Both keep billing, because neither knows about the other.
What comes back
One document. Every recurring charge on the statement you sent, identified and sorted, with a plain sentence on each. No login required, nothing installed, and nothing for you to configure.
Charges for things the business has stopped using, duplicates of something you already pay for, and seats belonging to people who are gone. Each one carries the yearly amount it frees.
Plans carrying capacity you are nowhere near using, and annual commitments bought at a size you have since grown out of in the other direction. The lower tier is named.
The ones earning their place, said plainly so you can stop wondering about them. A short list of keeps is a real result, and it is the half most reviews skip.
One number at the top. Everything marked cancel or downgrade adds up to a yearly figure. That figure is the point of the document, and it is the first thing you see.
How it works
You send one month of statements
Whatever card or account the software sits on. A PDF or a spreadsheet export both work. If it is split across two cards, send both. That is the whole ask.
We read every recurring line
Each charge is identified and sorted by what job it does. Where a line is ambiguous we ask you one question rather than guessing, because a wrong cancel costs you more than a missed one.
A person reviews it before it goes out
Machines do the sorting and the arithmetic. A human checks the judgment calls, because deciding what a business can live without is not a job to hand over entirely.
You get the document in three business days
Sorted, totalled, and short enough to read in one sitting. You cancel what you want to cancel. Nothing happens to your accounts unless you do it.
Why we can say cancel it
Most places that compare tools are paid by the tools. Comparison sites, directories and review pages usually earn a referral when you sign up, which means the honest answer, that you should buy nothing, is the one answer they cannot afford to give you.
We take nothing from vendors
No commission, no referral fee, no affiliate payment, no paid placement. You are the only one paying us, so cancel it is a sentence we are free to write.
We read your bill, not a database
This is not a score against other companies. It is a read of what your business actually does with each line, which is the only comparison that decides anything.
Who this is for
A good fit
- You have more than a handful of recurring software charges
- Nobody at the business owns the list
- You have added tools faster than you have removed them
- You would cancel things today if you knew which
- Someone left recently and nothing was tidied up
Not yet
- You run two or three tools and you know both of them cold
- You already keep a current list with owners and renewal dates
- You want contracts renegotiated, which is a bigger job than this
- You want somebody to cancel things on your behalf
- Your spend sits inside a system nobody can export from
If it is the last one, say so before you order. Send a note first and we will tell you whether the read is worth buying. Talking you out of it costs us less than doing it badly.
The Software Bill Read
One month of statements in. Every recurring charge named, sorted, and totalled. Back in three business days.
Covers up to forty recurring lines from one statement period. More than that and we will tell you before taking payment.
What people ask
What exactly do I need to send?
One month of statements for whatever card or account the software goes on. A PDF or a spreadsheet export both work. If your subscriptions are split across two cards, send both, and if you are not sure which account they sit on, send what you have and we will tell you what is missing.
Do you need access to my accounts?
No. No logins, no bank connection, no software installed, and no access to anything. You send a document, you get a document. Nothing on your side changes unless you decide to change it.
Do you compare me to other businesses?
No. This is a read of your own bill rather than a score against a benchmark database. Every line is judged on what your business actually does with it, which is the only comparison that decides anything.
Will you try to sell me software?
No. We take no commission, referral fee or affiliate payment from any vendor. That is exactly what lets us write cancel it, and it is the reason this document is worth reading.
What if you find nothing worth cancelling?
Then you get that in writing, which is worth having on its own. It does happen, and a short honest list beats a padded one. We would rather tell you the bill is clean than invent work to justify the fee.
What happens after I get it?
Nothing, unless you want it to. Most people cancel a few things themselves and stop there. If the read turns up something bigger, usually that the same information is being paid for twice or that nobody can see the numbers monthly, we will say so plainly and you can decide whether that is a conversation worth having.
